Dennis,
What do you make of Rocco's recent comments? I personally think that he said what evetybody is thinking but wont say. Sean Foley in my opinion has nothing in his stable that would make him worhthy of giving swing tips or lessons to arguebly the greatest golfer to evet walk this planet. Tiger is smart enough to know that his game is not any where that it needs to be. After one year of trying some goofy swing mechanics that obviously dont work for him i feel Rocco is right on this one. Go back to what you know and work from there. Rocco is also right when he said that the tour needs tiger and the tour needs tiger to play well, hell we need tiger. Im not sure about the body breaking down part but it does bode well in arguemjent sake. he has had quite a bit of problems with his body starting with hank. i also think that hank lucked out and got Tiger in the peak of his career at that time. Tiger probably could have modeled his swing after my own and won he was that good.

It depends. Tigers body is certainly not the same as it was 12 years ago, maybe 5 years ago. And he certainly has more distractions than he did then. All self inflicted I might add...but the Foley philosophy is scientific, based on some sound principles I feel. The problem seems to be that Tiger is probably being asked to do things he has never done. Even though he says he has swung this way when he was young. Tiger was almost 10 degrees (!!!) inside out when he was first diagnosed on TRACKMAN with Foley. That's a lot. He also hits down on his driver as much as anyone on tour. So he has been a high hands, low club head, steep shoulder into impact player for some time. Maybe forever cause no one has any film of him ever swinging any other way. To go from there to centered in the takeaway, high right shoulder, low left hands is a leap. A big leap. At times it looks like he can do it but he can't sustain it. I say it's a work in progress but he is stubborn. If he wasn't he wouldn't be Tiger Woods. Rocco is just Rocco. I prefer the guys who make noise with their clubs.

Eldrick Woods kept on changing his swing several times when perhaps he was at his best scoring average in the year 2000... Many pros seem to want to change their swing but end up worse, eh?
